Our history
LegalMed Nurse Consulting, LLC was born out of the founder's desire to build her own business and legacy by combining her two main fields of expertise, medical knowledge and research. While legal nurse consulting is a relatively new and burgeoning field, it is our desire to be leaders in the industry by utilizing our unique skills to drive our thoughtful and competitve approach.

Audrey Banes, RN, BSN, LNC
Founder and CEO, LegalMed Nurse Consulting, LLC
Audrey began her professional career in Oil and Gas in Land Acquisition, where she learned a great deal about legal documents, proceedings and extensive research in titles. After witnessing many of her colleagues experience the volatility of the industry through lay-offs, and being faced with relocation due to a buyout, she decided to pursue a new career in nursing. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Newman University and began her nursing career in a Level I trauma ICU. She has vast experience in all aspects of critical care with over 10 years of experience in the medical field, bringing with her the knowledge, professionalism and exceptionalism you are looking for in a partnership with a Legal Nurse Consultant.
Audrey has a solid understanding of standards of care, scopes of practice and evidence based practices which is paramount to building a strong, successful case. She is dedicated to providing the best and most comprehensive consulting services for all your medical legal needs.
In her spare time, Audrey mostly enjoys traveling with her many friends and family, wine-tasting, golfing badly and playing with her puppy.
